What We Do
UPickLocator is an independent, community-driven directory of pick-your-own farms, apple orchards, strawberry farms, pumpkin patches, and agritourism destinations across the United States. Our goal is simple: help families find great places to pick their own fresh produce.
Why U-Pick Farms?
There's something special about walking through a field and picking your own food. U-pick farms offer fresher produce than any grocery store, a genuinely fun outdoor activity for kids, and prices that are often 30–50% cheaper than pre-picked produce at a farm stand.
For the farms themselves, u-pick is a labor-saver and revenue-booster — visitors do the harvesting, and the experience itself becomes a draw that keeps families coming back each season.
How the Directory Works
Farm listings are sourced from public records and Google Maps data, verified where possible, and updated regularly. We do not guarantee that any individual farm is currently open — seasons, hours, and crop availability change constantly. Always call ahead before visiting.
Farm owners can claim their listing, update information, and add photos through our Get Listed program.
Seasonal Tips
- Spring (April–June): Strawberries, rhubarb, asparagus
- Early Summer (June–July): Cherries, blueberries, lavender
- Summer (July–August): Peaches, raspberries, blackberries, vegetables
- Fall (September–November): Apples, pumpkins, grapes, corn mazes
- Winter (November–December): Christmas trees
